Prayer:
Gracious Father, through the gift of faith you bless us with the insight that your desire to save precedes any human desire to do any sort of good work. Through the support of your Spirit, cultivate our gratitude for the gift your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
