The Christian Church - Synod of Saint Timothy

The Synod of Saint Timothy is a body of faithful Christians, seeking to minister to the world through the Sacramental life and fraternal love that was evident in the ancient Church, while always putting the saving grace of Christ's atoning sacrifice first in our minds. We welcome you to our online blog.

Propers for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity and for Trinity Week

With the celebration of the Most Holy Trinity, our Synod begins a new liturgical year. The Sunday propers for the new year will be drawn from those appointed for Year C (2007), which commences with this Sunday's observance. The gospel readings for Year C will feature pasages from the Gospel according to Luke. The liturgical color for Trinity Sunday and Trinity Week will be white/gold.

In order to obtain all the citations for each day of Trinity Week, it is necessary to scroll down to the bottom of this post.

May the Lord bless you and your loved ones throughout the new year of grace!

Blessings,
+Mar Martin

Holy Trinity Sunday:
"All Praise to God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!"
[26 November 2006]

Prayer:
Almighty Triune God, your name is veiled in mystery; yet, we dare to call you Father. Your Son was begotten before all ages; yet, he was born among us in time. Your Spirit fills your whole creation; yet, you pour forth that same Spirit into the hearts of your adopted sons and daughters. As you have created, called, and loved us by name, draw us ever more deeply into the mystery of your divine life, that we may glorify you rightly through your Son, Christ Jesus our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
