Prayer:
Merciful Father, your Son gives the water of eternal life. Through your Spirit inspire in us our deepest thirst for you, the wellspring of holiness and the source of eternal life and goodness. We ask this through your Son, Christ Jesus our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
